A few weeks ago Hawk challenged me and AngryZenMaster to draw Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles doing… something. Hawk wanted to do this for some odd reason, i can’t remember why. I also can’t remember why i accepted. I had never drawn either Batman or the turtles before, so it took a bit of scribbling to come up with something. By the end of the week, the rough sketch at the top was as far as i got - i thought it’d be amusing to show Batman suddenly realizing that he’s standing on the nose of Gameru, the huge drunken turtle from MT, with the TMNT guys taunting him.
@anniespjs Anne Callaghan (@anniespjs), who does bellacomic.com and (the poor thing) is married to a friend of mine (wombat), offered to ink and color the sketch. She did a really nice job on it as you can see above. Thanks Anne!
Mine (without color) was certainly the saddest of the three, as you can see by Hawk’s submission and Jamie’s version. Still, it was a fun exercise and we should do more of them.
Sorry for not posting all of this sooner, especially to Anne who put a lot of work into her colored version. :) Next time, guys, we do something radioactively cute so i have a chance of winning :P
