Cable (from Proximity), rough tired sketch
Just a sketch from my (for some reason far more active) sketchbook. Thinking of that Silent Manga contest - the original inspiration idea for Down and for what turned into Proximity would make for an idea entry, considering that the idea was quite abstract…
This is just a partially finished drawing/sketch of two of the main characters from a project i’ve been working hard on called Proximity. That’s Down on the left and Shioh on the right… it’s not finished - in fact, you might question why Shioh is in her underwear. That’s because that’s just the undersketch - it’s from a sketch i did in my sketchbook while at a picnic with Jack over the weekend - Shioh will get her garments as i parse through them. Why does she seem all staticky? well, you’ll have to wait for a preview to get that part (think virtual world and augmented real world kinda thing)
Stareboards. I make up boards like this with material for stuff im working on and hang them where i am working. These are actually hanging in the warehouse near where i print shirts, so i they are in my line of site so i can think about a given project or story while working on other things, This is next to the heat press and the computer that runs the shirt printer. These stareboards are for ‘proximity’, a new project i’m working on.
You walk into a small restaurant in tokyo and find yourself loudly chewed out by a fox girl and a wolf girl who have been drinking too much… (yes, this is actually a sketch from the Megatokyo Visual Novel. )
Kyouko & Sakuya, A very bad and very rough sketch that might actually be worth cleaning up, i dunno… *plink*
I did this sketch last night after finishing the dialogue and frame-out for Tuesday’s comic. I was experimenting with more realistic looking eyes and whatnot. Didn’t come out too bad.
Is drawing Miho a spoiler for the story? Hardly. It’s Miho, now that she’s dead she’s more powerful that we can imagine…
random - pirogoeth sketch, alternate clothing and stuff (FTR, Pirogoeth has the mark on her left cheek, Piroko has a scar on her right cheek, etc. Each Piro(n) has some sort of identifying facial mark to keep them apart.
A development sketch from something i’m working on. Pencil on Canson Mix Media paper (98 lb), with some tweaking and shading in photoshop. Just kind of a nice sketch, so i’m posting it. Oh, the cat ears? that’s… well, if i ever get to doing the story for this properly, it’d make sense.
